How Board Games became a thing in India? Being a frequent visitor of cafes, I always wondered why all of a sudden people wants play board games, which Indians have never played before & comes from west-origin. This article is answer to that question. Germany, led the modern wave of board gaming in the late 1990s. It eventually spread to the rest of Europe and west. In the last five years, this wave has reached Indian metros. Now we have special Board-Game cafes, communities, annual conventions (Yes!) & E-Commerce portals too in India.

Movie I Liked: The Wizard of Lies
A thrilling movie based on 2008’s infamous ‘Madoff Scandal’ where, stockbroker, investment advisor and financier Bernie Madoff was arrested for perpetrating perhaps the largest financial fraud estimated to be worth of $64.8 billion in U.S. history. Though movie does not focus on implications of these on economy, it talks about Bernie’s impact on his immediate family, particularly wife Ruth, and sons Mark and Andrew - still it’s a thrill to watch.
